Danello is a dark kitchen bakery of healthy style baked goods based in Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico. The owner is a busy mother of two that had always dreamed of leaving her corporate job and opening her own bakery to offer sweet concoctions in addition to some healthier cake options using gluten-free flour.
Opening a brick and mortar store was not in her immediate plans as she wanted to be available for her children’s busy school schedule and extra curricular activities and thus the concept of running her bakery as a “dark kitchen” bakery was born. Because her bakery is by delivery or pick-up only out of her residence, I designed various sticker labels for her to place on her boxes or bags that will identify her as a legitimate, small owned bakery. She mainly runs her business through DMs on Instagram and WhatsApp, so she uses the color palette and typography I selected for her to style her images on Canva.
Danello’s regular menu offerings include her delicious New York style chocolate and double chocolate chip cookies in addition to her individual sized mini bread loafs in banana, chocolate vegan, carrot cake and flax seed flavors. Her cake offerings include the famous strawberry “mostachón” cake, a delicious carrot cake, a scrumptious lemon pie that is perfect for the very warm weather in Veracruz, and chocolate vegan cake that goes well with the many famous coffee offerings grown and sold in Veracruz.
